I was looking around, and it seems like this watchwinder does have a good reputation. Does anyone own one? Or can anyone offer any insight as to the quality of this winder, and if it can be purchased for under MSRP?

Link to the winder from Orbita's website:

(BTW, I did a search of the forums, and did not see any thread on this. Apologies to all if I missed it.)

I have that model, except mine is a 3 watch winder with a glass top. I absolutely love it, the settings are easy to use, and accommodate any watch. The case is well-made, and nicely lacquered. The pillows are soft and hold all of my watches easily.
I bought mine from their discounted section where a minor blemish on the case equals a much better deal.
Hope you decide to get one!

I don't have the Sparta 2 deluxe lithium, but I have the Sparta 2 open. Had it since 2006, no problems so far. Haven't changed the batteries yet (mine did not come with batteries; I just used normal Duracells). I like the Rotowind oscillating technique employed. No need to worry about winding direction.

Own a Sparta 2 Deluxe and have had no issues.

Beautiful case and operates with no issues.

I think you would be happy.
