I've recently acquired my first Orient as well and have to say that I'm quite impressed with the quality. I want to add that I'm a big fan of your video watch reviews. I've watched every one (most multiple times) as your reviewing technique is both educational as well as entertaining. As you pointed out in one of your videos, it's the next best thing to personally holding the watch. Thanks for your efforts. Keep them coming.
I just had an opposite experience with Tristars. Mine is terribly inconsistent depending on the type of activity. when resting, it is very close to 0 s/d. With mild activity such as walking and doing various chores around the house, it can run as fast as 90 s/d or more.
I believe QC is hit and miss. There is at least one other story of a similar inconsistency on this forum, involving a Mako. You can read about my experience here https://www.watchuseek.com/f410/tristar-issues-4665279.html
