Has anyone managed to put a ratcheting clasp on the steel bracelet? The watch is a steal, but it's also pretty criminal that it doesn't have an on-the-fly adjustable clasp, especially with the price point minimums you get such a feature with.

I agree, it's my one big beef with what I consider to be an almost perfect watch. I've found one solution and am working on another.

Option 1 - money no object - Believe it or not the clasp from a Tudor Pelagos is an almost perfect fit on the Aquis endlinks. All that's required is drilling out the holes on the Aquis links slightly to accommodate the slightly larger pins on the Tudor. Works great, but since a Tudor clasp only comes on a bracelet and that's over a grand, not really a viable option.

Option 2 - permanent fix - I've been brainstorming a way to retrofit an adjustable clasp mechanism into the current Aquis clasp. I think I've got something that will work but haven't finished modelling the parts yet so I can order them. You'd lose the diver extension, but that's pretty useless anyway. Hoping to wrap it up and order some 3d printed parts soon. If it works how I have it drawn up it should be a no modifications required mod that would allow for a push button adjustment and be invisible when the clasp is closed.

Unfortunately if I got the watch, I would actually use the diver's extension.

Would love to hear more about option 2 when you get there. If you end up creating something to sell, I'd be interested.
