Oris Aquis discounts on Ebay

Hi, looking to buy an Aquis and just decided to check Ebay to see if there were any good deals to be had. There were many listings from about the same two dealers who were practically giving he watches away at 35%-40% discount. I can't tell if this is a scam or not. Could someone enlighten me. I usually say that if something is too good to be true it usually is but I just want to verify. Thanks.

This is an example of the crazy and sort of sketchy discounts.

I’ve bought from watchmaxx before and had no problems.
If you are not buying from an AD, then it is your money and your loss.
I had a great experience buying an Oris Big Crown Pointer Date from the seller watchosity. The he seems to be a dealer and has many Oris for sale a very good prices.
I'd buy from a seller I trust. Watchmaxx or Jomashop are decent and have plenty of Ori. At the same point, that tells me I should be able to go to my AD and get a 30% discount, easy.

I own a box full of Oris models and have purchased several from both of the sellers listed. Purchase Direct is an authorized Oris reseller so you actually get the full three year ORIS warranty.

Thanks, this is much appreciated, I think I’ll go ahead and pull the trigger on one of them.

My dude you are guaranteed the item you ordered or your money back via ebay. I see a listing price too good to be true? I buy that listing. If It doesn't turn up, I get my money back.
I bought my Aquis from Watchmaxx on their website not eBay. AD would not budge from MSRP so I went gray market for 30% off.

Also, Watchmxx has a coupon for an additional $25 on their site.

Looking to buy from Watchmaxx soon here as well as the ADs are stingy as hell here in Canada
I bought my Oris Aquis 400 in an AD at 2300€ instead of 3300€.

Your AD wouldn't budge for an Oris? It always amazes me the way some AD's act. I have a local one that is the same way. I don't know how they sell watches.
