I recently purchased an Oris Artelier Date men's watch with a leather strap. I'm trying to locate the serial number on this watch but don't see it - any ideas where to look?

It will be on the case back. 2 digits followed by about 6 more.

Here is a pic of my Artelier Date. You can see the SN to the left under the word "steel". I blurred out the first couple of digits after the hyphen.

Thanks! Looks like mine is partially worn off since I only had the last 5.

Did you buy it from an authorized dealer? If not, it may be a gray market watch. Sometimes the gray market dealers will file off part, or all, of the serial number so they cannot trace where they are sourcing their watches.

this is a used watch I bought on eBay. Seller said all serial numbers were intact. They do have a 14 day return policy, so I may just return it.

took the watch to a jeweler and they were able to locate the entire serial number. Looks like the first part of the number is a bit worn though.

I also had the jeweler order me a stainless bracelet for it since they are an Oris dealer and the owner has become a friend of mine.
