Hi!

I bought a divers date, but the warrenty card was smudged. When i told them about the card they said i could just write their company name with a pen. Will it have consequences in the future if ill need a repair on the watch? The place i bought it from is an AD and i registerd the watch on Oris website.

First of all congrats on the DD it is a wonderful watch. I would be hesitant to write on the warranty card as Oris specifies that the dealers stamp is put on the card and if you write on it they may claim that you tampered with the card in the event of any warranty claim (despite the AD telling you to write on it). I would take a photo of the smudged card and send it to Oris to get their opinion on it before you take any action.
