Oris TT3 (black) vs. Ball Night Train vs. Omega PO

I am looking to purchase one of the above watches. I would probably buy used here to save a little money. From what I've read here, folks really like the Omega quality, the Ball value, and Oris styling. Each watch has its merits it seems.

I already own a Tag Heuer Kirium white face, a Seiko 5 Sports Mile Marker orange auto, a Black face Luminox (black rubber strap), and a Ivory faced Luminox on a brown leather strap. Stylistically I think I have the bases covered already, so the new watch would be an added bonus. Having said that I really appreciate my luminoxes and being able to see them anytime in low light conditions.

Any guidance is appreciated.

You might seriously love the black face version of the Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Classic. The lume is awesome, the fit and finish terrific.
After a year, it's still my favorite of them all.
To beat it, I'd have to spend seriously more money.

I'm not a fan of the carbon-fibre-effect but otherwise the TT3 is a very nice looking watch. The Night Train has a love or hate utilitarian look from the google'd images i found. PO is a classic design with pointy hands (for me, ridiculous - I know, that's a killer).

Forget what I think -which one do you secretly want?

PO for me personally>>>>

but, it's your money.

Oris: hit or miss. I like some of their designs, but some don't appeal to me. The diver is one of them.

Ball: same feeling as Oris. That model doesn't do anything for me personally.

Check out Fortis, specifically, the B-42 series. Also, Tutima makes a pretty decent dive watch at a much lower pricepoint [1800.00].

PO is more money than the other choices. Good luck.

I'd pick the PO. It looks great in 2 sizes, 2 bezel colors and with either a bracelet or a rubber strap. Versatile, durable and stylish is a tough mix to beat.

IMO, the Oris is just OK and I really don't like the Night Train- that date window bugs me.

if you're refering to the window at 10 o'clock, it's not a date window: it's a UTC window with a date change indicator (when red, don't use the quick-set date function because the system is already primed and could be damaged - usually between 9pm and 3am).
I'd go for the Ball... then again i'm a big fan:). But i sincerely dislike the hands on the PO and the bulkiness of the Oris. Plus where's the originality in an omega??
hopefully this is worth 2 cents...

I didn't realize that's what the window was. I did a quick search online and found a crappy photo, which I didn't examine closely. Now I like it even less.
