Apple v plums.

 

Well.. i know its difficult to compare them, but which would you tilt for ?? Oris-slightly used VS RT-New in the under 1000 bucks category !

 

The RT I really like was the one with the day pointer. I believe it is called the Airspeed? I'd take it hands down over the Oris. But there chrono is boring (to me mind you). If those were my choices, I'd go for the TT1 easily.

Owned the same RT watch, made by Grovana of Switzerland. Grovana supplies Steinhart & Debaufre.

IMO a solid, well made watch at a reasonable price (if you purchase from Holger/Germany).

 

I like the design of the Oris much better that the rt. I also like the quality behind the brand name oris, I believe that RT has some very cheap entry level models, for me that reflects on the entire brand. The valjoux movement is nice though.

 

Like Watchbreath said, apples vs. plums, but I'd take any Oris over any RT.

 

RT diver wears bigger than the size because of the lugs.
It does not fit on a small wrist like mine but ORIS does.
I will go for 100% ORIS !

For all its history, I have been wondering how much should a RT diver cost ??

Also, I have been really put off my its 'striking' similarity to grovanna divers ............... i know they own the company but i hate to see designs spilling onto other more respected brands.............
