Frederique Constant. Their Maxime Manufacture watches with the in house FC-700 movement can be had for less than $3000. For example: link

Tianjin, Poljot, Seiko and Swatch? A couple of Zenith models are available for sub-$3k prices. Talking strictly of mechanicals, of course ... shouldn't forget HMT, Raketa and Prim.

Vostok have in house movements too I believe.
Where there seems to be a gap in the market is for European watches at the upper end of affordable.

Orient -- they've been making their own in-house movements for 60 years.

Although true, perhaps, wouldn't we see Orient as a Seiko subsidiary? Or was Orient in existence independently of Seiko at some point? Seiko has been making their own movements for 130 years. Citizen too, although not for quite as long (more like 90 years!).

Orient was founded in 1950, became a subsidiary of Seiko in 2001 and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Seiko in 2009.

The ones that come to mind are:
Seiko, Orient (for a few hundred, more of course for Grand Seiko)

Frederique Constant, Revue Thommen - Thommen is a small brand, and I don't know anything about distribution, but worth looking into.
