Hi all.
I've signed up purely and simply for the purpose of finding some support for this watch. I bought it a couple of decades back. Its been all the ay around the world with me, the deepest it's gone is 15 feet, and it's been a love hate relationship.
Love, because I liked the style when I bought it, compared to the Hueur and others that were about at the time.
Hate, because it became apparent very early on that after sales care and service were poor.
I bought it from a Watches of Switzerland branch, here in the UK. The stopped dealing with them some time after, as did any other jewellers in the UK.
Its something akin to triggers hammer, if that rings a bell with any. The urgent movement is the third one, and most reliable. It had 2 movements/modules due to failure within the 1st 3 years.
Some time back, on my travels in Asia, it was damaged in a fracas. The module is still running, but the hands for the stop watch etc are all off, and there is no function on the adjustment.
there is nowhere to send it in the UK.
So, Im left with a few questions
1. Is there any support for these in Europe?
2. the actual movement must have been a fairly generic item, but is it still possible to get it replaced, repaired?
3. or should I consign it to the trash can, and buy something else?
