Johnny Utah's watch in Point Break

We all know Patrick Swayze wears a Breitling Pluton (I think it is) in the 1991 movie Point Break...but there is nothing online, anywhere about the watch that Johnny Utah (Keanu Reeves) wears in the movie. Any ideas anyone..? Thanks ever so much.

Not that much into Rolex, the Interwebs claim it's a 16610... EDIT: Well, that's impossible. The first thing one can read about the reference 16610 is, that it was introduced in 1988! The 1981 1979 introduced 16800 seems more likely...
