Planning to watch, but probably not bid...altho I have a day or so to think about it, as there's one lot that DOES interest me. No, it's not insanely high. But on Saturday, there are 2 Daniels watches, and those I want to see.

Looks like the auction starts at 5 Geneva time, which is GMT+2; so, 11 am EDT, or 9 Mountain. Anyone else planning to watch? Hey, if nothing else, it's watch ..... :)

Philips auction (sotheby's, Antiquorum and Christie's as well) are places where you get the rarest of the rarest watches. There will be a lot of Connoisseur with deep pockets so there will always be a premium to pay.
sadly it is the only place where you might be able (if you are lucky) to find a Philippe Dufour Simplicity or Duality.
It is on a whole different price range for me so i stay away from them :)
