Hi guys! Could you please help to identify my vintage gold 'Hy Moser & Cie' watches? I've got these from my grandfather many years ago. I believe he got them somewhere during the World War II, but I might be mistaken. Any information will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Hartmut. It destroys my story that he got them as spoils of war, but I wasn't sure about that anyway :)
Are these rare? I'm thinking to clean them, fix the broken mount and wear sometimes. The movement itself is in great condition.

I am not sure when the ETA 900 came out (I think that the previous calibre family was the ETA 810) but doubt somewhat that it was pre-1945. Still, I could be wrong - although a jewelled centre wheel points towards the fifties or later. As for rarity, ETA 900 watches aren't that rare. A Moser with an ETA 900 is rather rarer - but then, it isn't really any more special than a no-name watch with an ETA 900.
