Hello People,
Newbie here with a question which i hope you may be able to help with.
The first is a French silver cased Jules Girod.
The second is a movement that is engraved with the name, Sargent, London, 1722
I have tried to find information about these but no luck.I would like to know anything about these.
I have added a couple of pics.
Thank you for any help
Regards Bob

Jules Girod Manufacturer of watchmaking. Mentioned in Geneva Terreaux de Chantepoulet( Singing chicken) 36 in 1844.
fusee with overcoil were after 1860 so I think it can be Benjamin Sargent High Street Hastings Sussex 1862/70. and after London. St Leonards 1878

I'm not sure where you posted originally, but you are in the right place now - Vintage and Pocket Watches.
