I read if you use a .7mm bezel gasket it will rotate?
Does yours turn and if so is it smooth or sloppy?
Thanks in advance. I’m determined to squeeze a GMT build in this year and I already saw your bezel and was planning it. Tony
Those Namoki bezels ship with an 0.8mm bezel gasket, which will fix them in place.Once you press it flush it won’t turn anywhere.
I have two watches that I’ve removed the click spring because I use them for cooking (not at the same time lol). It’s perfect for grilling. Keep advancing the bezel when you flip a steak or whatever. One is smooth and tight .8mm but turns. And a .7 that is easier to spin but not always desirable. It’s a toss up.Those Namoki bezels ship with an 0.8mm bezel gasket, which will fix them in place.
On their website, they mention that it will rotate with a 0.7mm, which is what I did. It ends up a bit sloppy, so I used the click spring, and then further, bent the click spring in a couple places to make it kind of a "wavy washer," which works well.
As originally built. The caseback was the regular one, crystal too thick, bezel a tad wobbly.

Fixed up: Namoki crystal for standard (not thin, not sloped) bezels, click spring bent in a few places, 0.7mm gasket, and slim caseback.

6012 watches still has a few of these in stock. There was also a transparent blue one, but they are sold out of those. That doesn't look half bad to be honest!
Is there such a thing as translucent dials, to make it look more like a Seiko Time Sonar?

From what I have read recently, 6012watches are now unresponsive.6012 watches still has a few of these in stock. There was also a transparent blue one, but they are sold out of those.

I don't think they've ever responded to emails that I sent them, but my actual orders of in-stock items have gone through, at least in the past. If they're not sending out invoices now though, then yeah. I haven't used them for awhile, lately they seem to be perpetually out of stock of nearly everything but a bunch of 5KX dials, and less desirable handsets. Tokeilab and WPP are better resources now if you want OEM parts. From what I have read recently, 6012watches are now unresponsive.
Cousins is ok too, once you figure out the search function.I don't think they've ever responded to emails that I sent them, but my actual orders of in-stock items have gone through, at least in the past. Scarface is back
That dial !! Noice !Okay @Chronopolis, this level of creativity made me deeply uncomfortable but I strayed out of my comfort zone and made one that is not a clone of an existing Seiko.
Still shaking
In all seriousness though, pretty happy with how it turned out. Might need to swap the seconds hand for something that pops a little more but I love the brushed bezel.
