My previous reply was meant as a polite way of saying..... don't be so nosey👃.
Obviously you didn't pick up on it:(
I was asking how much that you purchased your rare Seiko for and for a very good reason. If we don’t know how much, we will never know what to offer for this particular model if a model like this ever is put up for sale. That’s the reason why I was asking you how much that you purchased it for. It has nothing to do with being nosey. It would be nice for a fellow WUS member to be able to help another member know what to offer for a watch like yours if one ever goes up for sale. That’s what this forum is all about.

I think for such a question a private message would have been be more appropriate.
Not sure why your reason for asking would really help.
If someone offers one they will ask whatever price they want to ( they will generally have done some research to figure out what to ask ), its then up to you if you want to buy it or not.
if I told you I paid a $1000 for mine and the seller was asking $3000. You telling them that you knew of one that sold for just $1000. won't help. They'll as likely just say ...'well you should have bought that one then!'
If I told you I paid $4000 for mine, you'd still have to decide for yourself if you wanted to pay the $3000 or not.

I wanted a Suunto Core for awhile, but wanted the Alpha or Stealth. The price was a little too much considering it was a non smartwatch. I picked up a Nixon Regulus Red/Black and it was a cool watch, but pretty much useless unless you were in direct light or using the backlight. It was around what I was going to budget for a digital watch that wasn't a GShock. Lo and behold, I was gifted an Amazon GC and they were selling this for $125. All in, I paid $32.50 for this, so I see it as a win. Already more useful than the Nixon, because I can see it. Fortunately, the Regulus is on its way back to Carlsbad for a refund.
