A quick googling leads me to this:
'Their ballpoint pens take their own branded Parker style G2 or D1 standard refills. Some ballpoint pens take a Cross style C1 refill that is a couple mm shorter than a standard C1. Their rollerball pens take a non-standard capped rollerball or mini capless rollerball (similar to Schmidt mini 8126) refill.'

Obligatory pen pick: here's the Moonman A1 I accidentally ordered off AliX while testing out coupons! Oops!
No regrets, though. Gorgeous pen, well worth the $35 Canadian I spent.

Thanks, I did some searching on duckduckgo, and initial result was not quite as clear. Rollerball replacement for the Parker BP is the ticket (to try). Thanks!

My son showed me what happened to his MB fountain pen when he left his bag near a heater.
Hence my preference for enameled metal pens.

Montblanc used to have an unconditional lifetime warranty. I recall finding a 144 in a parking lot that had been run over, the barrel splintered into shards. I gathered up the pieces, cap and nib fairly intact, and sent it into MB. A few weeks later a new pen arrived in the mail. Alas, those days are long gone. Now it's two year limited coverage for manufacturing defects only. Still, it might be cheaper to have it "serviced" than to buy a new one.

Alright I’ll play along….warning though because this post is long! 😁

Nothing high-end, expensive, high-dollar, rare or Earth shattering, etc. just a few writing pens that I have kept over the years.

OK here we go…..the first picture is just showing what I have.

This first two pens, shown below, are from the manufacturer known as LeCroy. Back when I was working we used to use various equipment from different manufacturers and LeCroy was one of them. When I was working (being a Metrologist….dealing with Metrology, etc.) I at times needed to converse with manufacturers engineers, etc. and well you would keep up connections with them and or the company, etc. and from time to time they would send me writing pens, coffee mugs, etc. as a show of appreciation or gratitude. I found them to be pretty cool since they would light up!

Rohde & Schwarz was another manufacturer that we did business with and had a good relationship with, here is a pretty cool pen combo flash light that they gave me. I really enjoyed using this one because of the added capabilities that it had, it came in real handy when looking inside small areas of electrical equipment.

Finally….these next two pens are special…at least to me and my wife. Both of these pens-writing instruments are special because they were made especially for my wife and I. You see when my wife was working one of her fellow co-workers made pens as a hobby. Though he never would sell pens that he made…you see he would make them then give them out as gifts on special occasions, retirement, birthdays, promotions, etc. and when he found out that I was retiring he made a pen for me and one for my wife as well. I carry it with me whenever we go out….dinner, traveling, vinyards, visiting, etc. and I’ll keep it till the day I die.

This one is my wife's.

Last….I do have a another pen and pencil instrument set (Cross) that was a gift to me from my sister in law though it has been misplaced and is somewhere in the original box that it came in and is in some other larger box, stored somewhere. I had that set for many years that I used to carry with me all the time when I was working and used extensively during my career. It was a real cool pen and pencil set laid in silver!
I know eventually it’ll show up…just a matter of time.

Well that’s it for me….that’s all I’ve go to show for now.

My apologies for the long post !

Here’s a pen I keep in my satchel. It’s small, very lightweight (being carbon), takes inexpensive ballpoint refills and is nice to write with.

Apparently, it’s labelled a “tactical pen” by the manufacturer, Boker. They also gave it a silly name… Bolt-action .50 Cal
What a load of wank.
The gun-fetish stuff is weird… most of the dudes into that stuff look more like they belong in Meal Team Six and the Gravy Seals 😂 😂

OK here are a couple of Pen & Pencil sets that I’ve had now for sometime.

The first is a Cross combo set that was given to me as a gift many, many years ago from my sister-in-law.

I used this set extensively throughout my career…will never get rid if it.

These next two combo sets….brands unknown to me?….are sets that somehow I acquired when?….where?….don’t know?….but I’ve kept them all this time…why?

This last pen was given to me from a co-worker. It’s a Skillcraft brand (anyone remember them?).

I never used it…..not even once. Though this afternoon when I opened it and tried writing with it well as you would imagine….the ink in it dried up or is solid or who knows? Even the extra refill won’t write!….both dried up!
