I dug out an old quartz Seamaster 200M I bought new back in the early 90's. If I'm not mistaken, the model is a 396.1042. I've alternately seen it listed as 37mm or 38mm (or even 36mm - that being the bezel diameter).

I dropped in a new battery and, aside from signs of many years' wear, the only thing wrong with it is that the bezel spring is shot - bezel turns freely in both directions with no clicks.

Anyone know where I can buy a new bezel click-spring? Or know the part number to search for?

I contacted Omega, but they would not even tell me if the part is still being made, much less sell me one - only suggested I take it to the AD for repair. And, well, I believe I can handle it myself if I can find the correct part.
