mmm, tough to say, maybe $50-$100 depending on condition. Definitely not the $200-$400+ you sometimes see on hopeful, but foolish (and unsold), ebay auctions.

ah, yes the MI g-shock. im with casiophile, paying more than a $100 doesnt make sense at all. heres a pic of the 5300 for my future reference

I have both mine bought under €30.- (used but good condition). There is a guy walking around here (not for long, he has final exams) with a DW-5300. Note that the DW-5300 is not part of the vintage illuster DW-5X00C models. Since Casio used WW (Wide temperature range, Water resistant) as prefix for the 5100 and 5300, they filled the DW-5300 gap later, in 1994 with this model. I never understood why they didn't fill the DW-5100 gap first...

I have noticed that there are a couple rare color variations that do seem to get much more attention on the Yahoo auctions. I think there are at least a half a dozen 5300 variants. At one time I was going to collect them all, but I was sidetracked and I think I'm still missing a model or two.
