Hi everyone. I have been informed that the dial on my vintage Omega 2782 2799 sc has been refurbished, since the text on the dial is missing. What I want to ask, if what is the watch worth. I can't find a precise value on the watch, so any Omega Experts with a good guess. Cheer

The only comp on Chrono24 for a Solid Gold Pie Pan Constellation is for CHF 7,176. That watch is in very good condition,

Is your watch solid gold? What is the overall condition? Has it been serviced? Do you have any papers, box, or history on the piece? All of these things will effect the value. I think a visit to a vintage watchmaker might be worth your time to get a more accurate value.

As an aside, you should probably say more than the word "Hello" before putting the forum to work for you, on your first post.

I'm so sorry if I seemed rude. My watch is overall in good condition. There are some few scratches on the dial, which are not very noticeable when used, but the case, hands, crown and so on is in great condition. I bought it from a watch dealer in Belgium, with 1 year warranty on funcionality and originality. I got it in an Omega case, the red one with a ziplock on it. Just like a service or travel case. It is in solid 18K gold, and also newly serviced, by a watch maker.

I would normally go to a watch dealer, but my country is in lockdown.

I am looking forward to an answer, and I really appreciate your help! Again, not to be rude, but I'm not very familiar with how this community is.
Cheers

A good place to start is with our rules and guidelines: Forum Rules and Guidelines

Where you'll find this useful tidbit: 16. Valuations. WatchUSeek does not offer valuations, nor do we recommend trying to have your watch valued online. Assessing the value of a watch is dependent on many factors, most of which require qualified persons having access to the watch directly. While members may provide their opinions as to the value of a watch, these are purely their opinions and do not represent WUS. If you need an value for insurance purposes, contact a qualified watchmaker who is certified for this activity (this varies from country to country), an auction house or a reputable watch dealer. The Complete Price Guide to Watches by Tom Engle, Richard E. Gilbert and Cooksey Shugart, published by Tinderbox Press of Mt Pleasant, SC, USA (commonly known as "Shugart") is a recognized starting point for watch valuations, but this does not represent a recommendation to use that book as anything but a starting point in determining your watch's value. As WatchUSeek is not in the business of watch valuation, we will not recommend anyone, but members may address individual requests with their own recommendations.
