Hey all,

So I just recently got my Stowa Flieger Baumuster B in the mail and took a look at it today and I had a concern. The winding on the watch works fine. Turning it clockwise in the normal position. But when I tried to adjust the time by pulling the crown out and turning it counterclockwise as directed in the instruction manual, nothing happens... Is my watch defective?

Are you pulling the crown all the way out? Sometimes there is a dead spot where a quick date set would have been.

Ahhhh yes I got it! Thank you!

Also, I got the deployment buckle with my strap but its set on a setting thats too big for my wrist. It seems screwed into the hole. Am I supposed to get a screw driver and unscrew it? Or is there an easier solution?

I apologize for the super cautious, possibly unnecessary questions. I just don't want to mess up an 860 dollar watch.
