I was going to change my vote, but substituting out Havana.
Mainly cause I think that havana would be best saved for a rootbeer dial/bezel and I really would like a white/cream dial!

Yes let's not get too caught up in the final tally. We will say take the top three or 4 and I may add a few of the suggestions posted in the original list of 100 or so. Let's just look at this as a way to get the name list to something manageable like 5-10 ideas and then we can have the deciding vote.

Since I specialize in impractical ideas, what about this one: Have three different dial/bezel combinations all part of the same series. Call the watch series MKll GMT...or whatever...then assign distinct names to each flavor. For example:

White dial/Pepsi insert: The MKll Key West
Brown dial/Coke insert: The MKll Havana
Black dial/black insert: The MKll Navigator (just came up with that one)

Each watch has its own personality, why not give each one its own suitable handle? I don't know what the extra cost would be, but would folks be willing to pony-up an additional $25 or $50 to get this watch with the color and name combinations they like best? "MKll GMT" could go on the top half of the dial while the unique moniker could go on the bottom half.

That sounds like an interesting concept. Whatever name is chosen, I vote for having "MKII GMT" at the top half of the dial and the name at the bottom half.

Here are my preferences:

White or Cream dial: The MKll Havana, Navigator or Meridian
Brown dial: The MKll Havana
Black dial/black insert: The MKll Navigator

Being the birthplace of PanAm. The town of KW has a Caribbean look and feel, so I think it's in line with the other names like Nassau and Kingston. And tbh, an American watch with an American history needs an American name. Although being European, I can see the point of that.

After much delay the final answer regarding the name is: "Key West - GMT"

I hope to start mocking up the two dial and hand choices next week. Basically we need to decide:

* Small GMT hand or big GMT Hand (i.e. similar to what Rolex uses now)
* Whether the hour markers are the dial are just like the Kingston or if we should move them closer to the center of the dial as on some early GMTs. I believe this was done so that the Arrow tip of the GMT hand would not fall on-top of the hour markers and get lost at night.
