PRW-3000. I ordered some G-Shock adapters from shape ways (1624) and put them on the protrek. I thought I would share how it looks. I don't like that the watch can slide on the strap. Previously I tried it with a Zulu but the additional strap underneath made the watch sit too high because the additional strap was too short. Does anyone make a Zulu with a longer strap (the short section)?

Interesting. How wide are the lugs? Would an 18mm NATO/ZULU work even without adapters?/

I now have my answer to where the middle "bar" comes from on the PRW-3000. Seems like it is part of the "wings" that ride between strap and watch head.

I believe the lugs are 16mm as that's the width of my adapter. 18 won't but 16mm should work without an adapter, a little too thin for me. Yes the hard piece just below the light button is part of the wings.

Thanks for posting this. I have some extra Shapeways adapters and was looking to use them on my GW-M5610-1BJF. But seeing how this seems to work on the PRW-3000, I might use them on it. I think the strap of my 5-ring zulus may be long enough for the watch to sit nicely without having to bunch up.

Could you post more pics of your setup? Thanks.

Would any Casio 16mm band fit? I've seen some 16mm all black bands that look like the bands for the 6900's on Amazon and such.

Thanks!
