Says it's a Vostok 2427. I don't know much about them. Whaddya think?
That watch is undoubtedly powered by a Vostok 24mm with auto-winding and day/date, therefore it is a Vostok 2427. The case looks like a Vostok civilian automatic case with a credible amount of wear for the age. The dial fits and has the correct markings, and it doesn't look obviously refinished. The hands seem like a good match for the dial. Unless the real experts say otherwise, I'd call this genuine. Not to mention being a bit of a rare find, especially if the calendar is still in perfect order.

This looks good. Attached catalog supplement, dated to 1979 actually. Sadly black and white, but odds are its reference number is 651527. Also attached mine but in a different colorway, gold case. One of my favorite Vostoks as has to be the most arcane way to set a date. I attach my notes for your amusement. These are rare, for good reason. Once you realize what it would mean to adjust the date for 30 day months, it's clear why sales of this watch were most likely pretty low.

There are comments on the mechanism that immediately catch your eye: the automatic winding sector and the drum wheel...

Btw, can I ask you what the lug width is on this watch? I'm looking for straps before it gets here.

looks like a fantasy dial and hands. What kind of watches have lume just on seconds hand? :)
The same kind of watch that has a B-uhr Type B dial with an hour hand that is too long for the hour marks. The only legit Russian Type B dial that I know of was a Poljot from about 20 years ago that had a custom hour hand.

I'm wondering if the seconds hand on this 2609.НА (NA) Raketa is original or not. It's black instead of gold and looks a bit too short, having exactly the same length as the minute hand.

This seems to be the same watch but with a gold seconds hand. Hard to compare the length because of the perspective. The overall shape of the seconds hand looks the same to me.

Raketa's 1978 catalog has other color variants of this dial with a gold seconds hand (523041, 523032). But there is also a similar white/silver dial with gold indices and a black seconds hand (523039).

If it's not original it's certainly old enough and weathered enough to be.

Raketa 2609 N.A / 523115, made in 1975. All arrows must be gilded...
Thanks a lot! With that model number I found more pictures, where you can clearly see that the seconds hand also should be a bit longer.

Will be on the lookout for a replacement. Cousins has Ø0.18mm / 12.5mm hands, which should fit. Maybe I'll give those a try until I find an original one.
