What happens if you manually move the hour hand pass midnight?

 

when i manually move the hand, it takes a full 24 hours (two rotations) for the date to change to the english date.

so is its monday, it does to spanish monday after 2 rotations, and then "tuesday" after another 2 rotations.

 

It may not have been time set properly. I alway set the watch's day and time one day before....then wind the hands around until the date changes to your desired day... Pull the crown out again and then set the hands to your day.

 

If the method mentioned already doesn't cure the problem it could be that the battery is getting shot. A tired battery can sometime cause quartz watches to do really strange things.

 

How did you have that watch? Does it have this issue you bought it?

 

What watch and how old?

I had a Seiko 7548 diver that had issues with date changes and the time slowing down during the change. Spencer Klein (well known vintage Seiko watch smith) said it needed serviced. Could be too much friction causing it to slow down.
