I was on Taobao and I saw a Sanyingma brand watch with a Zhufeng horse/bird caseback:

At first I thought it was put together from different watches (it has a ZB-1 movement), but then I started thinking...

Sanyingma (a brand from Sichuan) is spelled Shanyingma (鹰马) at Chinese wrist watch. The individual characters translated are:

= shan = mountain
= ying = eagle
= ma = horse

They are the three things depicted on the caseback. The connection seems too close to be coincidental.

Is it another example of parts-sharing between watch factories? Or did someone, when putting together the parts from different watches, see the connection? Or could it be something else?

What do you think?

I have no idea, but you could ask at the forum at Kevin's website where you found the example as to what case back it has, or email him at US Sea-Gull. :)
