Question about the Hulk Submariner

I have a question about the green (hulk) submariner. For those who have this watch, did (do) you get tired of the green after wearing it for a long time?

I bought the black one because I think it would look good with everything but now I'm thinking about the hulk version... I can exchange it if I want within 30 days but I'm not sure if I'll get tired of the green after wearing it for a few years.

I just want your opinion regarding the hulk version.

Thanks

Tired of wearing the Hulk? Hell No. Everybody has and can wear a black watch but you need to have it in you to sport the Hulk around. Just kidding..

On a serious note, to me the 116610LN is bland and would have been similar to the BLNR which at that time I had planned to acquire in the future. Some people term the blandness as classic but to me it is what it is unless it is the mil sub.

The green goes with pretty much everything. It does stand out amongst other watches.

I'm surprised you can still exchange it despite having the warranty dated and wearing it.

I'm a bigger fan of the hulk than the standard subc. The green is subdued under most, except the harshest of light conditions.
Had the hulk twice. I still drool over photos but i've moved up the rolex food chain since. If you're already inclined, i'd say go for it.

Hey!

I went with the day date. Daytonas were never my thing, and IMHO moving "up" to the Daytona wouldn't have changed anything because they are still sports models.

There's something about the hulk that is visually arresting. The hulk and the explorer 39mm are my favourite sports models. But i may be done with rolex sports models for good. Just Sayin'.

Love / hate relationship, beautiful on pictures but loud in the metal when I tried it on at the AD, in spite of the fact that green is my favorite colour. Then there are other aspects of the six digits Sub I'm not a fan of. To me buying the Hulk would we too experimental.

I don't get tired of the LV but I wanted a Sub of a different color. If the green didn't do it for you when you pulled the trigger on the black don't change it now. That sounds like a.... well just a bad idea.

I have the Hulk and wear it in rotation with other watches, and love it. When i have worn it for some time, i feel the need to wear something else, but that goes for most of my watches, and has less to do with the color, i think. Its a stunning watch, and only really very very green in direct light - otherwise not so much. In many instances, it'll look as if the dial is dark and not green.

I had the hulk and the black sub. Sold the hulk after about a year. Yes, it's unique and it's cool and it's an eye-catcher, but it got old. The black sub is iconic.

Best of both worlds if you can afford multiple watches...
