I don't quite remember, does the GW5500 case has mud resistant case?

meaning does the resin bezel cover up the buttons as well, just like a mudman?

:thanks

Would seem resistant to anything short of a nuclear explosion!

Those buttons seem to be integral with the case and only connect when you push the centre inwards. Heck of a push needed especially for button A on my 5500.

I don't own a Mudman to compare.

Anyone out there got both so that 'push' difficulty can be compared.

Also is it general, on the GW5500, that button A is harder to push than the others?

I don't have one, but it can only be a good thing, as you don't want to push the adjust button by accident. On other G's I have, the A button is always more recessed than the others.

The buttons are not the old school design like the original mudman or raysman, but similar to what you see on a new mudman.

u have to really give a good push in order the buttons to engaged. why? because they are one tough SOB.

I agree with mansrow (I have both as well). Actually...I think I got my 5525 from you stockae ;-).

I have boiled my mudman bezel...makes a huge difference. I plan on boiling the 5525 button covers to see if they soften up a little.
