I was surfing some months ago and ran across a site that debunked the common assertion that only 25,000 oysterquartzes were made. Can't find the site now, though. Anyone else know this site or heard this claim?

Note, there were 1,000 original prototype Rolex quartz Beta 21 made, so it would be logical that a lot more than 25,000 Oysterquartz were made.

But I could be wrong.
