I am in the market for a moon phase watch on leather strap, and in searching, have found several watches that I like. Of interest are the Sinn 6015 and Longines Master (L2.673.4.78.5).

The watches seem to have similar (or identical) movements. Does anyone know the movements for the watches? I did some looking, but couldn't easily find an answer.

I would appreciate any info if anyone has any experience with these watches. Or, if anyone has something else they would recommend in the same price range - $2,000 - $3,000.

TIA

Movement is a Valjoux 7751, the Sinn 6015 is fitted with an acrylic sapphire which wouldn´t be my frist choice. I´d look for a sapphire crystal.

There are a lot of other options
+ Omega Seamaster AM/PM
+ Limes Pharo Chrono

+ Guinand/Chronosport 011.51 (with different dials)
+ Auguste Reymond Cotton Club or Jazz Age Vollkalender
+ Sothis Spirit of the Moon
+ Glycine Incursore Black Jack (see my post on our Glycine Forum)
+ Wenger GST Classic
+ Temption Curare Chrono

The offers are endless.

Mike - thanks very much for the info.

Regarding the Sinn, I had seen that it is an acrylic crystal. I wasn't sure why it was offered that way.

I'll look into the watches you mentioned.

 Nope, the 3221.30 doesn't, but the Speedy Pro 3576.50 does, it's a
manual wind chrono and not an annual calender.
