The RADO stamp on the movement looks very bad.

The dial looks like it was painted black later in its life.

My God the lume dots are completely off the mark.

The RADO aplied marker on the dial doesn't look right either. It should be much sharper.

arachness...Hello. I do not know this watch, so this is but an opinion: it certainly makes me nervous, & I rather think laikrodukas and Seth Thomas are nudging you towards a Good Idea: this is not a Rado! Michael.

I would also return it. I think it's already a major investment to pay for maintenance of a truly collectible vintage watch, so I certainly wouldn't get involved with a re-dialed franken/fake.

Also, to be honest, I don't like the way the dial looks. Just my subjective opinion.

That's exactly what the fakers want you to think. :)

I gave up searching for Sandoz and Favre Leuba because I was tired of browsing through all the fakes.
Dan I know what you mean, I collect Favre Leuba, and there are a many many redialled fake. But the patient Collector can and will be rewarded. Don’t give up.
