Hi - I'm looking to expand my Russian collection to Raketa. Have been considering a 24 hours watch, or this one which I came across recently:

Raketa Wochentag Kalender Handaufzug 2 - Russische Uhren - Raketa

I kind of like the vintage feel of it, but I don't know much about Raketas - any thoughts on this watch and the movement? I love the fact that it's all Cyrillic... will have to learn the russian words for days just to read this watch :)

Also, would welcome suggestions on straps - not a big fan of the one that comes with it.

What about the other one, more rare, with three subdials?

My hit list for Raketa is as follows:

Domino, zero, perpetual calendar, kopernik, 24 hours

But really you can't go wrong with any Raketa! I say get both :D

yes, that one is nice too - but I like the purity of the dial on the white one... Both are nice looking, and very reasonable price!
