Japy Aquatique

very rare and unusual modular diving watch from the French-Swiss brand Japy. these are impossible to find in the asa

the brand made several of these models, and chronographs in the late 90's early 00's.

The watch has a modular design, it can be taken out of it's case (as it's self contained in another case), and another japy module could be inserted

watch is in really nice shape and this one comes with a pearl like dial. the brand had several different types of colors. the hands are the only thing with lume

some of the japy collection were 1 offs and some were 3 offs. there are several dial variations, and they even made some identical quartz models

this model is very rare, and might be the only one

aprox 41mm but what makes it doable for smaller wrists the lug to lug isn't tremendously big compared to many other brands

swiss eta 2824 regulated in 4 positions

sapphire crystal has some scratch wear to AR coating...these aren't scratches to the crystal itself, it's just to the coating. i do not know if it's the inside or outside. from what i gather it can be removed. it can be seen while tilting the watch at an angle.

watch also comes the original signed rubber strap in addition to the canvas that it's pictured on
