Hi,
I spotted this for sale. After searching for quite a while I can't find another like it with the black case and off white face and the date window that half covers the 3pm position.

I notice there aren't any screws on the face nor are there the four screws on the rear of the case but I have also noticed seemingly legit examples don't always have both. This would make me think it's either modified, fake or both.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

AFAIK the BR01-92 doesn't have a date window (especially this ugly), so I vote for fake.

sorry I certainly wasn't trying to encourage the buying or selling of fake goods. I did see some other "is this fake?" type posts so I thought this would be ok. I had a feeling this was fake so I wanted to check with others before I put down any cash.

We'd love to have you here at the forum, just avoid the fakes issues and all should be okay.

this is almost certainly a fake watch. the caseback is a dead giveaway. with the randomly colored brass screw, plus all the text in white instead of engraved/inset in the same color as the caseback. caseback corners rounded incorrectly, crown too thick with the wrong pattern density, B&R logo on strap is wrong, wrong hands, wrong date window (if this model even had it)...and based on the IOR of the "crystal" I'd say its actually plastic

As mentioned earlier, BR01-92 does not have date window. It's good you found out rather than later, right?
