Looks good to me.
quartz and looks real to me.
Real, but $1,000 doesn't seem like a great deal for that particular quartz.

I've seen those go for $900-$800 in good condition... seems like they linger on the FS board because most people want an automatic.
Real newer model full size quartz. Looks good. I always gauge condition by the tip of the second hand. If its faded to orange shade, I leave it alone. This one's a nice bright red, so not everexposed to the sun. Price good if has box, all papers and is in great condition. Wouldn't pay anymore than that. My 2 cents.;-)

The easiest tell with the new Omegas is looking at the applied "Omega." The feet should be perfectly flat and not angle up at the ends. Looks real to me.
Looks real to me as well, I would say $1000 might be a bit high but not by much.
Don't forget that price is shipped to Austraila!
Does anyone else wish they'd go back to the older Seamaster back? I like the wavy back more.

I agree, wave back is a lot cooler, but I dont look at the back.

If I do end up buying the watch, I'll have a look at the 2541 I own and this new one. Then I'll decide which one I'd give to my dad.

Its got box but no papers. Was a grey market buy originally but serial number appears to be in tact.
Looks Sweet.... EXACTLY like mine, , and its got the applied hour markers too ! ! ! ! !

Its a good deal to me !

AM,

What in the pictures led you to think there maybe a possibility of it being fake?

Jon
$1,000.00 delivered, in great shape with serial number? I say grab it. It's getting more difficult to find nice preloved Bonds!b-)

KAT
Most grey market watches have serial numbers. I would never buy a watch without a serial number for any price.

Looks real to me too. The pearl at the top of the bezel is a dead give away to determine fakes as well as the omega symbol. The omega symbol these days have the more flattened feet which replica and fake watches don not.

Nothing at all... I just like to run it past my watch-friend as a precaution in case I miss something.
Yup, looks real. I will concur with the other folks on price. late 700's or early 800's..
But a real looker though :)

Good luck..

I don't know where you guys see 'em this cheap!?! I'd love to know where. For the 2221 I've seen one for about $900USD but not cheaper. I've seen 2541s for $700USD but they were scratched, faded and without box etc.

I'm not stating you guys, who say they are $700-$800, are incorrect, I'd just like to know where these bargains are to be had! :-!

thats the cheapest closed auction I found...
