Hi all, I just wanted to share my satisfaction with Barton's G-Shock strap adapters. Pictured is their Cordura/silicone combo strap in army green, and their elite silicone strap in the "Flatwater" color combo. Both are very flexible and comfortable, and I think they provide some nice visual flare.
One quick note though: looking at the second photo below, you can get a sense as to how far below the caseback the adapters extend. This doesn't bother me at all because I have a small wrist, but I can easily imagine that they might dig into a large wrist, causing the caseback to float above the skin.

Thanks for posting. I too have a Barton Elite Silicone in navy on a GW-M5610. Took me frick'in forever to mount the adapters. So much so I emailed for a replacement set. Got those to work but broke 2 spring bars getting them installed.
Anyway great customer service and I really like the Elite Silicone. Have a khaki on the way.

I know what you mean, and I forgot to mention this. When I received my first set, I also initially thought they were faulty. I think they're just purposely engineered to be a tight fit, though. The good thing is they feel nice and sturdy once you do get them mounted. I managed to install both sets of mine without breaking any spring bars.

The elite silicone straps come with two lengths, so they should fit well on virtually any wrist size. The Cordura/silicone is long for me (I need to use the tightest setting), but my wrist is only ~6.3".
The adaptors look like the ones I got of aliex. Do they rattle? Mine were I'd say half a mm short and they rattled a bit. Wore them for a few hours then changed back to original strap. Great color combos there!
No, these ones don't rattle, but the flip slide is they can be challenging to mount (see posts #2 and #3 above).

I was blown away by how uncomfortable the 5610u strap was (why wouldn't they just make it flat on the inside - they could still keep the texturing on the outside easily enough) and was kinda bummed, as I loved the watch. Glad I came up across this post with all the pictures and the reviews to show me a better way. Amazon wasn't selling these at this point in time, but I bought some directly from Barton and ordered a silicone strap to match. Looking forward to trying it out!

I have both the Barton and Jays and Kay adaptors.

The Jay and Kays fit a little tighter and are easier to install.

The Bartons are fine, once they are installed.

Currently wearing the Barton adaptor one on my many GA-2100's, with a Barton NATO. Feels great, I will probably never take off the adaptor.

I really like the Jays and Kays. 24mm nylon camo band on a GD-350. Might try a Barton's down the road

Call me old fashioned but on the Squares at least, i prefer the OEM Casio adapters.

Yeah worth mentioning that on a 5600-ish style G, you almost NEED to take off the shroud AND the backplate to get them on.
They are crazy difficult to attach otherwise.
Once they are on, I had to "Snap" my backplate back on because the Barton adapters overlap it a bit (which is why they're so hard to get on without removal).
They don't move AT ALL, once they're on though, which makes them feel pretty secure.
On a larger G like the 100's they go on a bit easier, a teeny bit of play but not really noticeable.
