I recentley acquired this Seiko 5 6119-5460:
As you (I hope) can see, the case used to have some kind of gold or brass plating. As the breacelet is stainless steel, and I have seen this watch in a non-plated version, I was wondering how I could remove this plating or toplayer. At the corners it is already scuffed of. I have already tried polishing it with silvo and brasso, which doesn't seem to work. Even combined with a dremel and polishing disc, it doesn't seem to remove this gold colored toplayer. Any suggestions / methods to try?
