My favorite micro sold me a 10yr ronda with a +1 second a week accuracy, with the brightest lume I've ever seen, and it was well under $1000.

It's a requirement that I have some quartz options in my collection. I don't wear them as much as my mechanicals but they are always ready and available when the time comes.

I've become a fan of solar quartz, after dissing quartz for decades; always ready to go, no fuss, no maintenance and when radio controlled precision is insane.

Battery operated ones are a different story; me and batteries never got along very well.

I have mostly mechanical but I really like my Seiko SBQJ015 quartz. Features are GMT, perpetual calendar, titanium case and bracelet (very comfortable), 10 year life battery, and I really like the look of the dial. I’ve had it in collection for 10 years and while it enters the rotation less frequently than it used to, I still enjoy wearing it.
