My father gave me his old Omega Seamaster that he hasn't used in decades (it says Seamaster 600 on the dial). My mother gave it to him as a present around 1962. It is in pretty rough shape..needs a new crystal, dial..from water leakage through a crack in the crystal, etc. Does anyone know of a good place to get it repaired in Calgary or does one have to send it to Omega? I think it would be cool to get it fixed, but I suspect the cost would be astronomical. Thanks.

Well, I'm in Edmonton, but I usually buy my watches from Beng at Calgary Jewellers, and she is awesome. You might try giving her a call and asking. They seem to have a pretty good watch repair guy there, but I'm guessing they'll still recommend sending it in.
