Hi Alan! I know nothing at all about this, other than I am in the EXACT same situation! I have the DW5600 from 1987 which is also on it's second battery (amazing!) and still works great.

I loaned it my 18YO daughter who is a life guard, and on the first day of use she sent me this photo:

I reached out to several eBay sellers to ask if there later bezels would work and to Pacparts all of them said no :-(

So, I have the same question as Alan, any way to source a workable bezel or modify a later bezel to fit the 691 movement 1987 DW 5600? I have my dremel tool and I am standing by. Of course I would like yellow too!

I have now fixed my bezel temporarily with araldite. I shall contact the USA seller before buying to confirm that his bezel will fit my 691 veesion of the DW-5600 model.

Thanks! Yes, this is a good link. These guys are in Malaysia and they make reproduction of the bezel. Currently they appear to be sold out of the first quality items. No Yellow :~( I reached out and Sarah informed me they expect another run in late July. So I am hoping...

Also I suspect the eBay seller is selling the clearance items (medium quality) from this same producer.

 

Do the original DW-5600 (no letters after) and the 5600c share the same bezel? Is there a chart somewhere that shows which bezels work on which watches? I feel like I saw this at Pacparts, but can't find the link now.

 

Aliexpress.com has many sellers for various kinds of g-shock bezels and straps. Rubber, steel even titanium.

 

Anyone manage to find yellow bezel dw5600c?
