i just ordered my gw9000 and i really want to do this, but do u think itll work on that model. also , i dont want it no longed be water resistsance..any suggestions??

i agree... i didnt think i was gonna have to special order and cut a piece of polarized fiber, i just thought i had to turn it 90 degrees like i remeber in science class!

You can remove the polarized film and flip it over for the same effect. Rotating 90 degrees is fine, but the dimensions of the film won't allow you to fit it properly.

I found, though, that you'd probably be better off using a new piece of polarized film...since the original piece is easily scratched when you remove it. Also...having played around with it a bit...you will probably get better contrast if you don't go exactly 90 degrees out (or a 180 degree flip). Using a new sheet of polarized film will let you rotate the sheet to the desired effect for your personal taste, then cut to fit.
