Can anyone give me feedback on Revue Thommen please and in particualr this model:
http://www.chrono24.com/externewind...&name=Revue+Thommen+Airspeed+Chronograph+7750

I have seen one for sale by a UK seller and have pretty much fallen for it.
I have done a search and although kcan find several 'for sale' posts not much other info on them.

I believe this one has a Valjoux 7750 swiss movement in it. I am buying because I really like the look of it and I want a nice genuine swiss made watch at a sensible price (it is going for around £300).

Only concern at present is the thickness at 13mm which seems quite big.

Should I go for it on these basics or look elsewhere? I am already considering a b-uhr Archimede or Stowa at some stage.

That's an excellent looking watch, solid brand.
13 mm. is actually pretty thin for a v7750.

I'm not familiar with the brand, but, based upon the photo via your link, I'd have to say that that's one very handsome looking piece! :-!

Swiss (Grovana) owned company the name has been around a long time, I think it was originally an independent firm. They make solid watches, if you like the look I would buy it without hesitation.
