I am currently looking for my new G-Shock and I was trying to find the perfect match for me. After a few days of research and much obsession, I think I decided on the Riseman 9200. I do have a question to those in the know though. I would like to get the Mil Spec version of the watch and I found it for a little bit more than the standard version, however, it seems that the mil spec is lacking the atomic feature. Just wanted to see if someone can confirm this for me. The standard model with atomic is GW9200 and the one I like is G9200MS. Although the atomic feature is not a deal breaker for me, I would still like to have it if I can. If there is another model with mil spec that has the atomic, please direct me to it.

Any help and opinions are appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks for your help garrapata but holy moly, that is way out of my price range. That is crazy how they are asking 3-4 times more than the standard version. I would settle for the standard if I can't get that one a reasonable price.

Yes, I know, I was really surprised to see how high the price was - but I suppose when there is seemingly only one for sale anywhere, I guess the seller feels that he can get away with it.

If I recall correctly, I paid about $300 for mine six months ago - and I thought that was steep!

Now, even the non atomic 'ltd ed' (orange / blue / ms) G9200s only seem to be up for sale for what I think of as 'silly money'.

My advice (for what it is worth), is to buy a 'std' GW9200 (around $130??), then contact tiktox.com to see if they can get you a bezel & strap set for the 9200MS - they have sold orange, white, and blue sets in the past so they may well be able to get the MS resin as well - this will probably cost you around 35 GBP.
