My typical preference would be Patek/ALS/Moser and distant 4th Rolex.

But of the models you have ( i do not like dual/world time watches so they dont appeal to me) the Sub looks very appealing. I think the Blue and black looks better on that sub than the Batman. The moser is great and their dials stunning but i wonder how long before the dial color appeal may wear off?

I have an extremely difficult time understanding why Rolex is leading the poll. If anything it should be the worst performer, perhaps tie with Moser at best.

When you look at these 4 watches, there are 3 watches with their prices driven by their branding, complications, finishing and everything else, then there's 1 watch with price driven by branding only. You know which one it is.

In that particular group of candidates, the "amount of watch" the Rolex provides is staggeringly little.

No judgment on the voters or on your post, but as of the time of this post, the Rolex is clearly ahead with 17 votes vs the 9 each for the Patek and ALS. The Moser has 5 votes.

I am also interested that the least complicated watch, the one that has the least amount of movement finishing, and the one that arguably is not the "high horology" type of watch, is clearly the one in the lead at this price point.

If you need a one and done watch, why not go for an awesome brand with a fantastic yet useful complication and with a sports / steel bracelet? JLC perpetual …
Watch Analog watch White Light Rectangle

I’d also look into Vacheron Overseas. But that’s just me.

From Your listed options ALS beats the others by far IMO. Rolex would be my last choice.

126619LB is one of my least favorite Rolex models. I was offered one by AD about a month ago and turned it down.
ALS is a nice watch, but really does nothing for me. Just not my style and taste.
I love H. Moser, own 6 of their timepieces, but probably wouldn't spend that kind of money on Pioneer Tourbillon.
The obvious winner for me here is Patek. This model offers very interesting and unconventional design that works in favor of versatility of this timepiece. It can be worn as a sport watch as well as a dress watch that offers second timezone complication. It's one of my favorite Pateks which explains why I bought it as my first PP. Beautiful timepiece!

Out of the four, the pilot watch appeals to me the most. If I were to buy a pilot watch, I’d buy a Zenith pilot watch with no extra complications, for the most balanced look (e.g. no cut-off Arabic numeral markers), and for lower price.

I chose the Rolex purley because it would fit me the best and is the most versatile. If I could pull off that ALS or Moser I would chose one of them.

But it makes the decision so much harder. The Rolex is an awesome watch, but as awesome as an ALS or Patek with a timezone complication? Or a Moser with a bloody tourbillon?
Correct.. yes, awesome. No, not that awesome. Also makes a difference if you tend to beat to your own drummer or like to be part of the crowd - no wrong answer, just different personalities.
