Hi all,

I hate my first post be asking for something.. but I will be sure to contribute to others if I can!

I got given this 5513 and the dial has the famous "spiderwebbing".

The webbing can only be seen from very specific angles when the light is just right.

Im curious to know if anyone knows if this fault will get worse and/or how it will age.

Same watch different angles

Thanks Paul

hard to say how it will fare into the future: I've seen a box full of these old dials at the watchmaker's shop, with missing pieces of dial as they begin to flake off. How long it will be until the flakes come off, who knows.
I think replacement service dials may be available.

If I remember correctly (and don't quote me on this), some collectors find this a plus and can make the watch more valuable depending on the model. I'm not sure about that but I think I am correct.
