Hi all,
i have just bought an old Rolex Ref*3386 that keeps perfect time, but when i wind it up, it runs juns for about 7 hours and then it stops. What could be the problem?
Thanks in advance for your answers

Are you winding it approximately 40 turns? If so, maybe the gears have seized up then. It probably needs to be serviced.

My mother's Rolex did exactly the same. After a service by a good watchmaker (it's nearly 60 years old, Rolex SC in Melbourne wouldn't do it) it is as accurate as my Sea-Dweller and runs a good 30+ hours without winding.
