The reason I'm asking is that the nearest Rolex SC/AD/boutique etc. is 300km away of which some is across the water from me so I can't just drop in.

That screw pictured is fake! Its aftermarket garbage.

 

Spoke to the nearest (I use that term loosely) Rolex authorised repairer and they advise that Rolex won't sell them the screw on it's own. Have to purchase the link. Can't purchase the link without presenting the watch. Given that I live no where near the either the Rolex authorised repairer or the actual Rolex Service Centre (as I'm on a seperate island State, 300km away) it just makes it a logistical pain in the but. What crap policies and support over such a minor part.
