Sigh, I am weirdly "grateful" that SM keep using that hex logo.
Why? It "saves" me $$$.

I just can't get past that way oversized logo, with mangled letters inside.

If SM had not done such a poorly designed logo, I'd have bought MANY of their offerings already.

Just a few assorted thoughts.
On the PRX, if you prefer auto, don’t want a waffle dial or a date, and want to spend 50% less, it’s hard to ignore the SM. For me the size is just right. I don’t love the hex but it doesn’t bother me either.
I’ve recently received the SN0076 and SN026 and I’m more than satisfied. If the quality of the new PRX is anything like those, I’m in. May not be for everyone but what is.

The only way I will be able to say no to one of those speedmaster homages will be if they price it too high.

Agreed - the letter-mashing always makes the hex logo appear tilted/off-center to me, even if it is perfectly aligned.

Right?

You're like, only the 2nd person to see it as I do.

Ahsweddagaaa, there is a lot of blindness in this ghetto.
As long it's shiny, and looks like som'm famous ("iconic'") for under $200, you'll get people going: 🤪 :ROFLMAO:

The logo is not great but it's not terrible either. Plenty of microbrands with worse, and at least a lot better than most Chinese. But does help my wallet 😂

I prefer their applied 'SAN MARTIN' logo more, with the hexagonal logo on the clasp/crown

That speedy hommage is just gorgeous.

The logo doesn't bother me. I don't like it. I like none of SMs logos tbh. But since they offer the custom dial service ... Who cares about heir logo

D'OH !!
Is that so??
That's a game changer then.

What is the 'dial service?'

Sounds like some 1973 thing they would offer on an SST supersonic passenger plane: "First class includes one outgoing call with dial service provided by our lovely stewardesses!"

I don't like the logo, either-- on the speedy homage particularly for some reason. If they have a sterile version, or a no-logo version, yeah... I'm in trouble, too, Chrono.

All of the 70's was great (and the girls were relaxed, fun, and hot) but 1973 in particular was a fun year!
Almost got busted for stealing lumber from a construction site, to build a treehouse with. (y) :poop:
I wonder what happened to Danny?

To those of you nagging about the logo, did you contribute with some useful idea or you just like to complain?
Above and beyond, custom logo&text is available for extra cost. For those capable to design a logo, that is.

Did you bother to check if people who are "complaining" did make positive and encouraging criticism to Mr. Liao? (I did, on several occasions, about different aspects of his designs.)

Or do you just like to whine about people voicing their legit opinions - NOT complaints - on an OPINION driven forum?

Did you bother to read what I wrote? I indicated the exact reason of your complaint. I also provided a viable solution.
Sure, you're free to have opinions. Are they constructive in any way? Do they help? If yes, hat off, you're a good member of this forum. If not, what was the point?
Your last acronym talks about you, not about me. Think about that 😉

About the PRX hommage: I own a Tissot PRX, and I'm not a big fan of the braclet. Too thin, only push pins, quite a lot of flex in it. I wouldn't be surprised if the San Martin hommage would be of a higher quality in terms of fit, finish and tolerances.

The 36mm DJ is great new aswell. I hope it'll be a true 36mm case now, which seems like it, because of the smaller lug to lug distance then their current 37mm cases. I'd wish for an oyster style braclet, but you can't have everything.
I found the printed hex logo to be least bothersome, but the hex logo still looks cheap and reminds me of a 90s skateboard / surf logo. The cursive logo looks like it took zero effort in MS Word. I like the brand and quality but I wish the logo also looked like quality too. I enjoy looking at my watch and the logo is like a crooked bezel or misaligned magnifier/index. It’s blah.

I’d buy the date just if it weren’t for the logo. It’s too noticeable and I’m getting picky with my low-end collection.

That speedy hommage is just gorgeous.

It saves me big money as they're all small watches, ha

Absolutely: the applied 'SAN MARTIN' logo is excellent. I bought 2 of their tunas just because of the applied logos.

Same here. I bought all 3 color offerings of their MM200 watches with my own logo. I couldn't be happier with their service and dial execution. Next in line is their stainless steel bezel tuna.

Their applied 'SAN MARTIN' logo is their best option ever. It reminds me of old school Seiko or Citizen logos. Really cool!
The fact that they offer custom dials for very little money, makes SM stand way above everyone in the watch game.
