Easy. The SBGW231.

Why? Easy.

You have to manually wind it. Easy.

But - if you want to wind it easy, you get the SBGW231.

The SBGW291 is NOT EASY to wind. It is a hassle due to the small crown.

Here is what I talk about (the same form factor):

291 for the dial, the 231 was a bit too creamish for me, both wind well . . .

Neither of them is limited edition, and I think the last year of releases strongly suggests we will be seeing more references in both form factors. So if you're torn, perhaps keep waffling — something might come out that pulls you to it (or pushes you to one of those two)!

Have both the SBGW235 and the SBGW289 for reference. Although I enjoy the smaller dateless 44GS case as well as the eye catching dial, I seem to wear the 235 more often as I find it more versatile. Also the crown on the 289 is terribly small and it's much less convenient to wind it in my experience
