I'm looking at a Seamaster 30 with subdial second hand, 17 jewel 269 cal. movement, 35mm diameter. The watch appears to be in excellent condition. It looks just like the much sought after Ranchero. It would be my first Omega. I'm not sure about the year and it's difficult to read the serial number on the movement in the picture I have but I think it is 13304243. I probably wouldn't wear it much so I'm wondering if it would be considered worth collecting. I do love the look and I know Omega is a quality brand. Any input from you experts would be appreciated. Thanks.

A lot, and I mean a lot of the "explorer/Ranchero/Railmaster style" Seamaster 30s I've seen around have either entirely refinished dials or are at least relumed. If that's a concern for you, then you just have to be careful. If you can post some photos, we'd be happy to offer our comments.
